Taiwan's incumbent President, Ma Ying-jeou, has claimed victory in the country's presidential election. Nationalist Party's (KMT) Ma Ying-jeou had about 51.5 percent votes against 45.7 percent for Democratic Progressive Party's (DPP) Tsai Ing-wen.
