Are these cars allowed to have the windows tinted like that?
A huge contrast when you compare the windows of those cars in the background.
I don't even know if anyone was inside the car when I took the photo.

ReplyDeletejkaiser: Looks like no authority at all. Don't sound right leh. :)
ReplyDeleteThe answer is yes. Diplomatic plates can zhng whatever they like.
ReplyDeleteNow move along. Nothing to see here.
Shoo. Shoo.
consular diplomat's cars... well, they can bang down people for all they care, there's nothing the authorities here can do except maybe whine and plead to the country's ambassadors...
ReplyDeletejaywalk: Got thing to see. I like to see what is inside the car leh. Very kay po. :)
ReplyDeletehafiz: Then again they should create trouble with the law. Else will tarnish their image.
Actually, there is another car that I have personally witness that has tinted windows.
ReplyDeleteThe number plate is "MID 1".
Poor sentry guards don't know if CDF Lt-Gen Winston Choo (back then) was in the car or not. Heck lah. Just salute to be on the safe side even if it is an empty car (discounting the SSG Driver of course).
While on the topic of official cars, I recall "SP 1" and "SJ 1" windows are not tinted.
jaywalk: I've seen some officers along the road, saluting the car. Looked kind of wierd.
