Osaka 2007 IAAF Accident: This is the accident that took place in the Mens 3000m Steeplechase heats during the 11th IAAF World Championships (Athletics)in Osaka 2007. The incident involves Günther Weidlinger from Austria who tripped and his face smacked into the barrier. He suffered cuts in his lips and jaw; and was taken to hospital immediately after the incident. -
