Form Five Methodist Girls' Secondary School student, Stephanie Tan Joo Sing, was suspended from school for one week for wearing a miniskirt during a charity event.

The school's principal, Chong Chew Yoong, said that Stephanie, who heads the school's Leo Club, had been told to be properly dressed as she would be representing the school at the charity event.
