of lunch breaks and songs

I was reading the Life section in today's Straits Times and came across 2 letters written by readers.

- The first one titled "Longer Lunch Breaks" sent in by Eric Ho. Yay! Extending lunch breaks means more time spent can then be spent on blogging during lunch break. Exercise fingers, wrist, eye-hand coordination, brain...Healthy not?

- The second letter titled "Sing-apura" sent in by Lau Kim Boo. Very true! I don't even know how to sing Majulah Singapura correctly and pronounce the words properly. I have also forgetten the lyrics to those patriotic Singaporean songs like "Count on Me Singapore". *shake head*

  1. Me too.. sing majullah blindly, without pronouning the words correctly. Also don't know when to end the song. So, you get to hear a few jokers mouthing "Ma "... after the song ends.

  2. anna: That's why I don't sing patrioticly loud when singing our National Anthem :)

yan yehn-yohn: New name ah? Well as I grew up, the lyrics of those songs gets fewer and fewer...until I forget them.
