of singapore's stupidest device

In today's Straits Times. Introducing "Singapore's stupidest device", that is what Tampines GRC MP Ong Kian Min calls it.

Same issue in today's Today.

Fellow blogger Wandie also encountered the "stupidest device" and he had already blogged about it.
There were workers installing shoulder height metal bars across the foot of the overhead bridge that spans the PIE/TPE. Please do not ride down the overhead bridge or you'll get a clothesline you'll never forget.

  4. tempest blue: I guess they didn't consider safety as a top priority in the design. Trying to solve one problem, create another problem. Sigh.
