of carparks

I was driving into a carpark at a shopping center last week. I followed behind a car into the carpark. However, it stopped at the ticketing machine for some time. The driver did not insert the cashcard into the ticket machine but just kept waiting at the gantry. After 1 minute or so, 3 cars were already waiting behind me.

I approached the car and knocked on the door. The driver wound down the window.
Lancerlord: "Hi, is anything wrong?"
Driver: "Wrong? What's wrong?"
Lancerlord: "You not going into the carpark?"
Driver: "But the gantry don't want to go up. How to go in?"
Lancerlord: "Did you put the cashcard into the machine?"
Driver: "Huh? This carpark is not ERP one ah!"

Then the driver took the cashcard from his IU and inserted it into the ticketing machine.

Some carparks are ERP-enabled. Some are not. Some use cashcards. Others don't. Can be confusing to some drivers.

  4. happens to the best of us.
there's this carpark that i went to..
It has that ERP reader thingie at the carpark entrance near the grantry..
When you drive in.. its a breeze coz the ERP thingy works to open the gantry.. however when you drive out
you have to use your cashcard to insert to carpark machine before the gantry opens... the ERP thingy ONLY reads for season parking cars.

    DUMB. Plain DUMB.

said carpark is at ayer rajah industrial area.. near starHub

  5. I once saw this female driver parking her car on the roadside. In front of her was a truck.

Her car backside was like 40 degrees out from the road shoulder into the main road. Trying to correct that, she reversed and stepped hard forward on the gas.

Boom, she hit the truck; her car's backside was still dangling out in the main road.

Still wanting to try again (despite the hit), she reversed again, this time, hitting the truck again and driving into the pavement.

As the audience, my friend and I literally rotflmao.

Her driving examiner must have gone mad during the test to pass her.
