of download song and free email

Reading today's Straits Times, I learnt that:

- With the upcoming Next Generation National Broadband Network, it is alright to download songs from the internet.

- Some people still do not know that there are already free email accounts out there. Give out free internet access to all Singaporeans would be a better deal for us.

  1. In fact I think minimum of 100mb/s sounds juicy.

But since it may be government funded, will it be government regulated too since the government had provided the funding?

If the government ever considers using Wi-Max, it's not very feasible for people situated in buildings because Wi-Max uses a very high frequency transmission, which is easily stopped by walls, etc.
