of no progress

I just received my Progress Package and I wanted to check the Growth Dividends that the government so kindly has given me. I clicked on the "Growth Dividends" link at the website and waited while the page loaded.

After 1 minute, the page was still "loading".

No progress.

  2. That's why I hate government websites, and I throughly hate MIW.com.sg.

Doesn't make anything simplier or faster.

They purposely "pang puar liap" to make you gian first.

Then wait for you to vote for Pee-Ay-Pee mah. Trust me, once they will liao, the rest of the page will start loading.

Don't believe? Keep that browser window opened until the end of the election lor.

But hor, if they lose hor, I guarantee you will be re-directed to the "Error 404" page one.

  6. Isn't the amt your eligible printed on your progress package letter? Anywayz, if i had totally missed your point, the fact remains that you will still be getting your $ by 1st May? I think smtimes Singaporeans are too pampered by the gov that they don't realise how fortunate they are!

I like to think of it this way; if i were bestowed with the honour of running the country, how well or better would i be able to run it as compared to the status quo gov? Wad abt u?

  9. kwoksiong: No lah. The link just takes time to load on my "cannot-make-it" compooter.

jasper chen: MIW is a lot better already after many complaints. The initial phase when it rolled out of a headache. And yup, we are required to register from 1st April onwards.

cg: Have have. The link is working...finally.

jay "give half ball" walk: Make us gian gian like that is it? kekeke...

anonymous: (1)Yup yup. The amount is stated on the letter. The link that I wanted to click is supposed to contain some FAQs. It's working now. (2)If you were to run the country, do it in your own style and stride. Do what is best for people. Like Khaw Boon Wan says after taking over Tony Tan's area, that Tony Tan left too big a shoe for him to fill. He will wear his own shoes to run the Constituency and not fill those big shoes left by Tony Tan. He very very humble person. *thumbs up*
