MAS, TM, & Maxis Win Platinum Status From Reader's Digest: Malaysia Airlines (MAS) emerged as one of the Platinum status winners in the 2008 Reader Digest's Trusted Brands Awards announced here Monday evening. The annual survey/awards honours the very best brands in the country and Asia. MAS won its award under the top airline category, while AirAsia and Singapore Airlines were tied for the Gold status award.

A check with the RD Asia website shows that SIA got a gold in Malaysia but it clinched a platinum in Singapore.
