SUNDAY's article, 'He owns 3 cars, all fitted with CNG kits', reported that compressed natural gas (CNG) is priced at $1.38 per kg.
At this price, 12.7kg of CNG works out to $17.53.
Why then do I have to pay $36 for a 12.7kg tank of Esso gas for cooking?
This is a difference of about 105per cent.
Would the CNG stations consider setting up equipment to refill cooking-gas cylinders?
I believe you have a win-win situation here: There is a huge business potential in serving the thousands of housewives and hawkers who cook with liquefied petroleum gas, and these people would definitely appreciate the savings in cost.
