Singapore man with armpit fetish gets 14 years' jail, caning: Mohammed Ismail Ariffin, 36, had a fixation for touching or smelling women, particularly their armpits.



He has been sentenced to 14 years in jail and 18 strokes of the cane for molesting 23 women in the Marsiling and Woodlands areas. The offences were committed at HDB lifts, staircase landings and even in the victims' homes.

This is not Ismail's first offence. In 1991, he was convicted for drug and sexual related offences. In 1996, he was given six years and six strokes for molesting 6 women, 5 of them in Marsiling, giving him the nickname Menace of Marsiling.
