Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SingTel) and Apple today announced that they will be bringing the much anticipated iPhoneTM 3G to Singapore later this year.
Mr Tim Cook, Apple’s COO, said
We are excited to be working with SingTel, the largest multi-market mobile operator in Asia Pacific, to bring iPhone 3G to millions of mobile customers in Singapore. We can’t wait to get this revolutionary mobile device in the hands of even more people around the world.
Mr Quek Peck Leng, SingTel’s Executive Vice President of Consumer said,
