Witnesses Vyom (15) and Arunima (20), both belonging to Delhi, have told the commission that they hit the pool area while others preferred to rest in resort rooms.
They told the commission that Ishmeet had ventured alone into the pool beckoning them to join him. The witnesses added that Ishmeet kept going towards the deeper part of the pool waving at them to follow him, revealed Swamy.
The girl said Ishmeet waved frantically when he went to the deepest part, but they could not make out if it was desperation call to save him. “By the time , we realised what had happened, Ishmeet had sunk to the floor of the pool,” the witnesses told the commission. The witnesses could not be reached over the phone.
Swamy said the two witnesses raised the alarm and hotel staff and others rushed. Ishmeet was pulled out. A doctor tried to revive him by the pool side. But it was too late. He was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him dead.

The body has since arrived at his native place at Halwara where he will be cremated with full state honours.

True...times like these make one question over the very existence of God. Pray that the family is able to overcome the grief and pay homage to their son. Now people are talking about his death being an accident or a planned murder....i read even his family is askin for a probe in these murders.

I am wishing if some news can come that the guy who is dead is not ISHMEET SINGH :(
IT is a BIG LOSS to the Entire MUSIC Industry of India
Its a very shocking and undigestable to believe on this accident happened with ISHMEET SINGH. In news we are listening different things of what has happened and just now i read the comment by singer SHAAN - which was totally different from what has been said by the spoker from Maldives Resort. So we want to know what is the truth. We want justice for him. we demand a sincere investigation and proper Enquiry in Ishmeet's tragic Death.
PLEASE AS A BIG NEWS CHANNEL HELP US, THE ENTIRE NATION TO GET THE JUSTICE FOR ISHMEET SINGH.
WE WANT INVESTIGATION AND ENQUIRY IN THIS TRAGIC ACCIDENT HAPPENED WITH ISHMEET SINGH WHICH TOOK HIS PRESCIOUS LIFE.
Whats more hard to believe is some people are actively making FUN of this. :(
