19-year-old Abraham K Biggs commits suicide live on webcam: 19-year-old Abraham K Biggs, who went by screen names "CandyJunkie", "Mr Biggs" and "Feels Like Ecstasy", committed suicide in front of a live webcam after being encouraged by people online.
19-year-old Florida resident Abraham K. Biggs told users on a bodybuilding forum he would be committing suicide that night and invited them to watch the live video. The forum moderators allegedly ignored the post – assuming it was a prank – while other users posted insults and even egged him on. The teen used the "lifecasting" website Justin.tv – designed to let users share the minutiae of their everyday lives – to stream footage from his bedroom.

Mr Biggs posted a suicide note (reproduced at this forum):
Mr Biggs then posted his suicide note, where he said he had hurt other people and hated himself for being a failure. “I am an a@#hole I have let everyone down and I feel as though I will never change or never improve. I am in love with a girl and I know that I am not good enough for her.”Up to 1000 viewers watched the video. Biggs was seen taking several pills before lying on the bed with his back to the camera. Police was called in.

Biggs's friends have posted "RIP" messages on his MySpace page, with some still asking him to pick up his phone, and others changing their statuses to "devastated".

If he's objective is to be famous, now he is. But exchanging his life to be famous is stupid.

Who said he was trying to be famous? The young man was sick in the head he just wanted to like himself and be liked. He was bipolar! If you've ever been around anyone that is bipolar you'd know that they have really low self esteem and worth and at any moment they can snap. I have a friend has been bipolar for about4 years and I've personally seen her snap several times. She's pulled weapons on people and had to be committed for her mood swings and self worth.
God bless the Biggs family and may this be a lesson to others out there that depression is no joke and shouldn't be taken lightly if your child or friend says they are fighting it. For those that don't know it is estimated that 5000 to 6000 teenagers kill themselves each year.
