Warner Bros. Makes It Official: ‘The Dark Knight’ Will Return To Theaters, IMAX On January 23

Updating a previous report posted this week in which we linked to a SuperHeroHype.com piece stating that Warner Bros. would not be re-releasing “The Dark Knight” in theaters, the studio has sent out an official press release stating that the film will indeed head back to both theaters and IMAX across the country on January 23.

Dan Fellman, Warner Bros. Pictures President of Domestic Distribution said in the press release

‘The Dark Knight’ is a crowning achievement in every sense of the word. We wanted to provide one more opportunity for moviegoers to experience it on the big screen as it was meant to be seen.
