The Auditor-General's report for the financial year 2008/9, which was released on Tuesday highlighted millions of dollars that could have been spent more prudently.
The Media Development Authority of Singapore failed to collect an estimated S$9.89 million in revenue from joint projects with production companies, despite the projects being completed for some time.
And some people are owed money by the authority as it has yet to refund S$6 million in unused or overpaid radio and TV licences.
