According to AP,
The woman came into a San Francisco Bay area police station and said she was Jaycee Lee Dugard, a blond, ponytailed girl when she was abducted as she headed to a school bus stop 18 years ago, said sheriff's Lt. Les Lovell of the El Dorado Sheriff's Department.

"We're 99 percent sure it's her," Lovell said. He said DNA tests were being conducted. The woman was in good health. It was not immediately clear when she had surfaced at the station.
Dugard has been living in the backyard at the home of her alleged kidnapper Phillip Garrido.

  1. Oh my gosh....I think I know this Nancy...she lived in Leavenworth Ks. while Philip was in the Pen. I remember when she moved to California. She was a member of the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall Church.

  2. Both him and his wife are very sick individuals. I am outraged to have read that he only served 11 out of 50 years in prison. When reading this cant help but think of a punishment that would be equal to what they have done. My prayers with Jaycee and her family. May the justice prevail this time and they gets what they deserve.
