Guinness Record Challenge - Most Body Piercings in Single Sitting: Staysha Randall had 3200 pins pierced on her body breaking the previous record of 3100 piercings. The record for the "Most Body Piercings in a Single Sitting" is waiting verification by Guinness.

Staysha Randall has attempted to break the world record of 3,100 piercings for a title of "Most Body Piercings in a Single Sitting."

The piercings took place at Inktoxicated Tattoos in Las Vegas, Nevada.

She initially wanted to go for 3,600 piercing, however, after she got 3,200 piercing she changed her mind and thought it was enough for her.

Citibank releases statement on its website regarding the recent breach in which hackers acquired personal information on about 200,000 credit card holders.

A compromise to Citi Account Online was discovered and rectified in early May as part of routine monitoring, and a limited number, roughly one percent of North America Citi-branded credit card accounts were impacted. The customers' account information (such as name, account number and contact information, including email address) was viewed. However, the customers' social security number, date of birth, card expiration date and card security code (CVV) were not compromised. We are in the process of sending notification letters to customers whose information was impacted.

Citi has implemented enhanced procedures to prevent a recurrence of this type of event. For the security of our customers, we are not disclosing further details. If you have any questions, please call the toll free number on the back of your card and we'll be happy to help.

Heavy rain floods various parts of Singapore : Heavy rain started 6.30am this morning. A total of 124mm of rainfall was recorded. This was more than the flood experienced last June. Orchard Road did not experience similar floods this year.

Flood at Bukit Timah / Swiss Club Road

HEAVY and intense rain over the central and eastern parts of Singapore early this morning starting from 6.30am caused flash floods in various locations, and flooded the basement of Tanglin Mall.

The first to be hit by flash floods were Wan Tho Ave, Sian Kwang Avenue, Jalan Kemboja and Puay Hee Road, all in the MacPherson area, which according to the Public Utilities Board (PUB) in a statement released on Sunday, is a flood-prone area.

The rain moved to the central area in the late morning flash flooding some parts of Orchard Road and Bukit Timah. The stretch from Blackmore Road to Maplewood Road and two out of three lanes were affected. The road was closed temporarily for one hour. Flash floods also occurred at Cuscaden Road, the Tanglin/Tomlinson Road junction and the Napier Road/Tanglin Road junction.

For the first time the basement level one of Tanglin Mall was affected. The basement carpark of Delfi Orchard was also flooded. Tankers were deployed at both malls to pump out the water from their basement carparks.

According to the PUB, a total of 124mm of rainfall was recorded for the central area this morning. This is about 77 per cent of the average monthly rainfall for June. 'This rainfall was more intense than June last year, with about 65mm recorded within 30 minutes this morning, compared to the 100mm within two hours on June 16, 2010. Orchard Road did not experience similar floods this time, said a PUB spokesman, adding that the stretch of Orchard Road from Orange Grove Road to Cairnhill Road has been raised.

Tanglin Mall basement flooded in 'less than 3 min': Photos taken by STOMPer Anne.

Not only were many roads flooded because of the intense rainfall this morning (Jun 5), some indoor areas in the Tanglin Road area were also affected. STOMPer Anne reports flooding at basement 1 of Tanglin Mall in "less than three minutes".

Fernandes claims Hammers offer: Team Lotus Formula One and AirAsia boss Tony Fernandes claims he has made an offer to buy West Ham United.

The 47-year-old Hammers-supporting entrepreneur missed out on buying West Ham last year to current co-owners David Sullivan and David Gold.

Fernandes also rejected the opportunity to form a partnership with Sullivan and Gold as they sought investors.

Fernandes admitted in the wake of their relegation from the Premier League that he would get involved in the club if fans wanted him to and now he has tabled an offer to gain control at Upton Park.

Mr Fernandes tweeted

For all you west ham fans an offer has gone to the present owners of west ham. Let's see if they accept.

West Ham United Joint-Chairman David Sullivan issued a statement posted on the WHUFC website,

We have received an email from Tony Fernandes regarding an offer for a share of the club which has immediately been rejected. He has announced this on Twitter and people can draw their own conclusions as to the seriousness of it from that.

We are not looking to sell the club but, as we have always said, we would love co-investors to join us in rebuilding West Ham United, which has been our aim ever since we took charge back in January 2010.

In the event that a serious investor came forward as was the case at Chelsea and Manchester City, we would naturally consider it for the good of the club - but this is certainly not the case in this instance.

This kind of approach is very unhelpful when we have just made a big step forward as a club in our hope of returning to the Premier League, and it distracts from our main focus which is promotion.
