The editors of the TR Emeritus (TRE) have been served a lawyer's letter by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong for carrying a post alleging cronyism in Madam Ho Ching's appointment as head of Temasek Holdings. Mr Davinder Singh, the Drew & Napier lawyer acting for PM Lee, described the posting as defamatory and without basis.
49-year-old Richard Wan, a director of an IT company, was identified as one of the Socio-political website's five editors. Mr Wan is the only editor based in Singapore. The other four, a lawyer, a businessman, an IT executive and a retiree, are believed to be based in Hong Kong, China, the United States and Canada.
