Business executive, Shi Lim, 24, was crowned Miss Universe Singapore 2013 at Shangri-La Hotel on Saturday. She will be representing the country in the international round on 9 November in Moscow, Russia. As the winner, Lim received a trophy and a ruby and diamond ring valued at S$48,000. The first and second runner-up spots were taken by Cheryl Desiree Chan and Cordelia Low, respectively. They were among a total of 16 finalists judged by a panel of nine, including local actor Alaric Tay and Miss Universe Singapore 2000 winner Eunice Olsen.
