Totally unbelievable!
Was at Outram Park station today waiting for someone. One MRT staff walked towards me, ask if she can help me. I said I was waiting for someone.
What she said next stunned me. She said, "You can wait here, but if you wait more than 20 mins, we have to charge you $2"
So now we having HUMAN PARKING FEE! WOW! TALK ABOUT WORLD CLASS TRANSPORTATION! FIRST IN EVERY **** THING.

ReplyDeletewere you waiting inside? This is old news already. If you read the "terms and conditions" of SMRT, (it's pasted on a board somewhere in the station), if you exceed the time limit, you have to pay extra. It has been like that since the beginning.

ReplyDeletei once stayed in the MRT for almost 3 hours for a ride, and thought that cause i'm using student rate, wouldn't be a big deal if i ride kovan mrt, and round singapore, and back kovan.
ReplyDeletei was told meanly, to either wait in the station for cops, or just pay 2 dollars fine.
This rules is already set for such a long period of time.
