U2 frontman Bono has been blamed for the band's latest recordings leaking online - after he played the tracks to his friends on holiday.
Four unreleased tracks from the Irish band's upcoming No Line On The Horizon album leaked on the internet after a fan recorded the music from the record that Bono was playing in his French villa.
The holidaymaker is believed to have recorded the tracks on his mobile phone and subsequently posted them on video sharing website YouTube.
The four leaked songs are said to be called Moment of Surrender, For Your Love, Sexy Boots and No Line On The Horizon.
The songs have since been removed from YouTube.
Long-time U2 collaborator and producer Daniel Lanois describes the band's new album, their first in four years, as "one of the great, innovative records from U2. Bono's in great form, singing fantastic," he told British newspaper The Sun.
