One bus hangs over freeway in Seattle after it crashed through barrier when it and another bus were involved in the accident
Two buses crashed Friday on a Seattle street, pushing one through a guardrail next to Interstate 5 and leaving its front wheels dangling above the freeway. Seattle Fire Department spokeswoman Helen Fitzpatrick said 11 young adults were taken to Harborview Medical Center with minor injuries.A man was spotted waving traffic on to make sure no one drives under the accident area.
Fitzpatrick said there was no danger of either bus going over the guardrail, which is about 20 feet above the freeway. She said the 75 passengers were able to get off the buses before emergency vehicles arrived. The cause of the accident was not immediately known, but winter weather left many city streets coated with ice.

My name is Joseph R. Jones, and I was driving home with my wife on the I-5 when we saw the bus go through the concrete barrier. It was an incredible sight to behold.Read more about the good Samaritan here.
The cool thing is that there was a guy who looked like a construction worker who saw this happen, and parked his truck far enough out that it would stop traffic, and was waving people by to make sure that nobody would drive under it. You can see him in the picture-- I hope someone finds him and thanks him for making the world a safer place.
