MODEL agency founder and former actor Mark Chow claimed trial on Monday to molesting a 27-year-old woman in a pub more than two years ago.
Chow, whose real name is Chow Yee Sze, 29, is accused of molesting the woman in the office of the pub in the central area on Jan 10, 2007.
His last minute attempt to compound the offence at the start of his three-day trial was opposed by Deputy Public Prosecutor Adrian Loo on public interest grounds.
The first witness was the 38-year-old pub owner who told the court that the victim, then an operations manager, reported to him that she was molested while she was resting in the third floor office.
A 30-minute CCTV footage of the alleged molestation was shown in court.
