NSman grilled over blog: Mr Abdillah Zamzuri, a Police NSMan, was arrested over
comments he made on his blog on the handcuffing of photojournalist, Shafie Goh. This was the second arrest following the arrest of Mr Abdul Malik Mohammed Ghazali on Tuesday over comments on social networking site Facebook.
AN NSman with the Singapore Police Force has been called up for questioning by his reservist unit over comments he made on his blog on the handcuffing of a photojournalist in July.
Temasek Review, an online blog site, said Mr Abdillah Zamzuri, 26, disagreed with how the police handled the cuffing of Lianhe Wanbao photojournalist Shafie Goh, which took place during a flash flood on July 16. He also said that the officer 'acted stupidly' and that they should be sued.
Mr Abdillah received a call from an investigating officer from his reservist unit a week after his July 19 blog to have his statement taken.
The charge, according to Mr Abdillah, is for 'prejudice to the conduct of good order or discipline', said Temasek Review.
In his blog, Mr Abdillah commented,
As someone who still reports for reservist duty as a Police Officer, I am well aware of the Penal Code and Statutes that governs and dictates what a Police Officer can and cannot do.
Whilst there are many things that a Police Officer can do whereby he is empowered to do so having satisfied himself beyond reasonable doubt that a crime has been committed, there are also instances whereby Police Officers are strongly encouraged to exercise discretion in their line of duty.

ReplyDeleteНе могу поверить, что он оказался таким... Сначала нежный, ласковый, ВМЕНЯЕМЫй... А сейчас, в последствии расставания он хуже куска г-на. А я ираньше замечала звоночки, но настолько любила, что все прощала. Мы в данный момент работаем в одном офисе и приходится видеться. По работе я частично завишу от него (не директор).
Никогда не думала, что при соорах вылезет из него столько грязи и непочтения, грубости и злопамятсва. Расстались из-за его эгоизма и метания как в проруби между двух девушек. Он ушел.
И сейчас почему-то отчего, но он задевает меня, острит по-злому, припоминает какие-то косяки с моей стороны, именно валит с больной головы на здоровую. Сегодня сказал "Хорошо, что я облюбовал не тебя, а ее", он бъет по больному месту... Может при всех что-то невежливо заявить или же повысить голос, не делает то, что я прошу сделать по работе, огрызается, подкалывает. Я ему ничего полохого не сделала, просто любила. Да, может слишком много ему прощала в отношениях. В этом ли вина?
