Sixty children from The Guardian Academy and students from Singapore Association for the Deaf's affiliated schools were given an opportunity to meet footballer David Beckham.
I have great memories of this city as it was here that London won the 2012 Olympic bid. Coming back and seeing these kids today has been an inspiration to me. I'm honoured to be invited to the Marina Bay Sands and to launch this community sports initiative. This is a beautiful hotel, and Singapore is one of the most forward looking cities in the world.
