Honda has developed the first airbags for motorcycles. The airbag, which inflates after sensors detect an oncoming crash, will be available on the new Gold Wing motorcycle, on sale in spring 2006 in the US.What next? Seatbelts for motorcycles?

I dunno about this motorbike airbag thing. If there's an accident involving a bike, the rider will likely be dead before the bag has a chance to inflate. Or he might be alive, but the bag inflates and pushes him onto the road where he gets run over by an incoming truck. LOL~

I feel it is an example of "best effort", got airbag better then none. the airbag reduces the speed of the motorcylist gets thrown off, so it is a bit different from car airbag...
ReplyDeleteyl: Probably to block the forward motion of the bikee during collision
ReplyDeletebahgae: I think so to.
