USGS reported an earthquake in Southern Sumatra, Indonesia. Magnitude 8.0 at 2007 September 12 11:10:19 UTC.
And it is not only 1 earthquake.
Taken off USGS site. Earthquake with magnitude of 7.9!

ReplyDeleteso that's what I felt today! half fearing for my life (coz I was @ the 12th floor) and half thinking I was hallucinating! it was quite bad! I was thinking maybe it's the upgrading construction going on near my place!

I feel very faint tremors from time to time and when I do...usually within 24 to 72 hours there is an earthquake or a tsunami that hits somewhere on the globe. Strange? I felt one a today....hopefully it is nothing!
ReplyDeleteRight now, please do not expect the media to publicise the tremor big scale or frequent. This is to keep it low profile as to not scare off the YOG participants. They are already shaken by the rain storm and freak floods and fallen trees.
