of reader's digest knows my address, thanks to linkpoints

Ever since Reader's Digest got hold of my address (thanks to LinkPoints), I've been getting many letters in my letter box.

And worse of all, lancerlady is also a LinkPoints member.

I hope that the database at Reader's Digest gets wiped out so that we stop getting letters telling us to fill in this and that.

  1. There are too many junk mails / emails. I simply dump it without opening. :)

  2. i used to read alot of RD, in fact my dad started subscribing back in the 70s while trying to improve his english. He cancelled last yr, after he got sick of RD's marketing tactics..all the sweepstakes.. You know last time they used to post those reference books to us, and if we dun return the book, we would be billed? The whole fuss blew up when there was an argument over payment for the book.. esp when RD wanted us to pay for postage.

If it's me, i would have thrown the book out

  3. I filled in YES to a book or something then they billed me for that. Bitch. And they keep sending me sweepstakes and shit like that. None of the surveys i've done actually won me the free gift (e.g. one promising the Osram keychain). Now I collect their stickers which come with their spam, and paste them all over my files, which look really glittery now.

  4. hyacinthus: I open to shred my name and address, then dump the rest in the bin. Call me paranoid :)

jkaiser: Agree. RD is no doubt a good read.

chris: U will need many many files then. Or a larger surface (like the windscreen of your lambokghini) for the countless stickers. Muahaha...
