of complaints choir of singapore

The Complaints Choir of Singapore: Should be funny hearing all the complaints in one song. This choir is Singapore's version of the Complaints Choir Project, founded by two Finnish artists, Tellervo Kalleinen and Oliver Kochta-Kalleinen.

The Singapore Complaint Choir will be part of this year's M1 Singapore Fringe Festival. The performances are as follows:
26 Jan / Saturday
3.00pm - The Chamber at The Arts House
4.00pm - Merlion Park
4.45pm - Speakers Corner
5.45pm - Front Lawn at Singapore Art Museum

27 Jan / Sunday
12 - 3pm - Recording at The Chamber at The Art House
3.00pm - Performance at The Chamber at The Arts House
4.45pm - Esplanade Waterfront Canopy
5.45pm - VivoCity Amphitheatre

According to The Lady Lian, the choir may be singing live on 98.7FM.

Prior to this, Kalleinen received guidelines from the Singapore government according to this post
Kalleinen and her husband received an email from the government containing some guidelines. Guidelines for complaining: no promotion of non-mainstream lifestyle, whatever that is. And no complaining about "generally accepted community standards" – whatever they are. I don’t know, we had quite much fun reading this email and we just had to answer them that "sorry but if you invite complaints choir project to Singapore, then you just have to live with the project and live with the principles."
Shoe had posted the email from The Necessary Stage some time back describing the choir. You can read her post to learn more about The Complaints Choir.
