If You Are A Foreigner In Singapore, You Can Get Away With Anything, Even Murder
So, now I am asking everyone in other countries to come to Singapore and start stabbing Singaporeans. Or if you want something less extreme, just go around and beat up some poor Singaporean, especially those without money. In Singapore, if you assault someone, it is NOT a criminal offence (except to rich govt officials).

  1. Thanks for highlighting the verdict of this murder trial.

Not a lot of people seem to care about the supervisor (his photo showed him in SAF uniform). This soldier did not die in the battlefields. Why there is no picture of the murderer? Oh, he is a foreigner but the funny thing is that they often showed pictures of Singaporean murderers. Oh, they afraid that this foreigner might go into depression again and killed others if his photo is shown in the newspapers.

    From the news article.

    The judge said:

'It appears that he [the supervisor] was the one who started the altercation and he threw the first punch,' said the judge.

'In the course of that, you [the helper] inflicted one stab wound on the deceased which unfortunately proved to be fatal.'

    [ ] - my insertion

Look at how the judge seems to imply the whole incident begins with the supervisor. Unfortunately, the helper happened to stab in the wrong part of the body during the quarrel (another word for altercation). Unfortunately, the supervisor died. Unfortunately, this is Singaporean justice. The incident only appeared to be as the judge put it, and he is not even certain.

Even the fishes of Alaska can smell something fishy here from they are.

The intention of this whole wayang is to let him not to face death penalty or life imprisonment. Depression, really!!

You got to do better than that, right?
