Naming the New University: Singapore's new university will open in 2011. MOE is calling for suggestions for a name to the new university.

Singapore's new publicly-funded university...will provide rigorous and high-quality innovative degree programmes to students who want to learn across disciplines, hone their entrepreneurial skills, and be well-prepared for successful careers in the global knowledge economy.

In line with "students who want to learn across disciplines", I propose to name the university:

Singapore Diverse University or SDU for short.
