"SEX AND THE CITY" Stars Sign On For Sequel: Sex and the City sequel coming your way.

US Weekly is reporting that the Sex and The City movie sequel is in the works! "Not all the contracts are signed, but everyone is on board," a source tells the mag. "It just happened."

There has been talks of a sequel since Sex and the City: The Movie premiered last May; the movie took in $150 million! In September, Sarah Jessica Parker told US that she wasn't against the idea.

"It's all about the story," she said. "If we can’t tell a story that's really worthy of an audience, then we won't do it." "We've been really lucky at this point," she continued. "We’ve been in people's good graces for a long time, and we take that very seriously. So that’s the biggest challenge, the story." I'm on board with this idea, (in case Warner Brothers is wondering)...whether you're a die hard fan or someone who considers it a guilty pleasure, everyone likes some Sex!

Broken penis episode in Grey's Anatomy sparks frantic internet search among men: According to the search engine Google, two of the three most searched terms at present are "penile fracture" and "broken penis". A plotline about a man with a 'broken penis' in the US hospital drama Grey's Anatomy has sparked a flurry of queries on internet search engines by worried men.

It follows an episode of Grey's Anatomy, Stairway to Heaven, screened in the US on Thursday, in which consultant Mark Sloan - otherwise known as McSteamy - suffered a fractured penis after indulging in illicit sex in the on-call room with Lexie Grey. According to the episode synopsis on broadcaster Abc's website, the resulting injury sparks intense speculation among colleagues as to who is responsible for his agonising injury. Sloan, played by Eric Dane, who also stars in Marley & Me and X-Men, is generally considered to be one of the programme's principal heart throbs, who has had romantic trysts with a large number of the main female characters. His injury is rare but can occur, although it mainly affects young men during sexual intercourse.

Proton to pick up Subaru's mantle in the WRC?: Subaru's former partner Prodrive is looking for a new client. And to cap things off, now unemployed former champion Petter Solberg (who used to drive for Subaru), is now rumored to be signing on to Proton's rally team.

Before Subaru entered the World Rally Championship in the Nineties, it was little more than an obscure Asian automaker. Though its rallying efforts helped to put it on the map, Subaru has decided to ditch the WRC this season. But another little-known Asian automaker may be ready to pick up what Subaru is throwing away. That company is Malaysian automaker Proton. And it's not as ridiculous as you may think.

The state-owned enterprise has a strong customer base in Asia, and is the largest automaker in the Muslim world. Proton also owns Lotus, which brings the parent company a considerably performance engineering knowledge base to tap into. Subaru's former partner Prodrive is looking for a new client. And to cap things off, now unemployed former champion Petter Solberg (who used to drive for Subaru), is now rumored to be signing on to Proton's rally team. Together with motorsport garage MEM, Proton has been busy preparing an S2000-spec rally car based on its Satria Neo hatchback for the lower-level Intercontinental Rally Championship, and if plans to switch the WRC to a modified "S2000+" formula come through, it could pave the way for Proton to mount an assault on the WRC by 2010, as the brand is eager to expand outside its regional market and establish itself in Europe.

Three Death Sentences in Chinese Milk Scandal: A Chinese court sentenced 3 individuals to death by selling and producing tainted milk products. The former chairwoman of the Sanlu Group and together with some company executives were also sentenced.

The harshest sentences were given to Zhang Yujun, a dairy middleman who the government called one of the “principal criminals” in the scandal. He was sentenced to death after being convicted of selling 600 tons of melamine-tainted “protein powder” to dairy companies. Another dairy producer, Geng Jinpin, was also sentenced to death. A third man received the death penalty with a two-year reprieve, which means he could be spared execution.

A court spokesman said a second man, Zhang Yanzhang, was given a life sentence, also for endangering public safety.

Tian Wenhua, the 66-year-old former chairwoman of the Sanlu Group, one of China’s biggest dairy companies, was sentenced to life in prison for her failure to stop producing and selling the tainted goods even after her company learned that the products were flawed. She was the highest-ranking corporate executive brought to trial last year. She pleaded guilty to the charge of failing to act properly in the case. She was also fined about $3 million. Three other former executives at Sanlu, once the nation’s leading producer of baby formula, were sentenced to five to 15 years in prison for their roles in the scandal.

About 14 years old and with 130,000 miles on the clock, the Honda Civic driven by Dale Lyle was barely capable of reaching the speed limit. So when he received a ticket for apparently driving at almost 100mph on the motorway, he told magistrates the mobile speed camera must have got it wrong. Prove it, they said. He did . . . but it wasn't easy. Mr Lyle, 21, who has a clean driving license, had already sold the car to a friend for $600. He had to take out a bank overdraft to buy it back. Then he had to pay an independent driving expert $600 to test the 1.3litre Civic's top speed at a circuit in Bedfordshire. The result was as expected. Even when driven flat-out, the Honda could still only do a top speed of 85.4mph in fourth gear and 81.3mph in fifth.

I’m getting reports (here (with pictures) and here (translated through Google) and here (also translated)) that a pretty big fireball was seen over Sweden last night. A video showed up on YouTube and it’s impressive.

This meteor may have actually dropped debris all the way to the ground (I doubt it hit intact, but instead disintegrated high in the atmosphere). Despite how bright these events are, tracing just where a meteorite impacted can be difficult, so the more observers the better. If you saw this event, report it to the International Meteor Organization! You might help scientists understand this object better, and it might even lead to finding meteorites, as it did in Canada in November.

The Scrabble Keyboard

This keyboard was commissioned by a couple of friends of mine from back east (NJ) who are avid Scrabble players. Most of the keys are made from real Scrabble tiles that were all hand-beveled (truly an exercise in patience/masochism!) and built onto a USB, clicky, mechanical-switch keyboard. This keyboard was going into a Mac environment so I decided to use brushed aluminum for the casing and round all of the corners to keep with the sleek, simple Macintosh styling. Near the end of the build, I decided that the keyboard looked a little too minimalist so I added some silver hardware and a seam to put a slightly industrialized twist on the design.

Woman blames Dell for missing online classes: Abbie Schubert bought a Dell laptop for her online classes at Madison Area Technical College, or MATC. However the Ubuntu operating system installed in the laptop was giving her problems. She could not connect to the internet and could not install Microsoft Word which she says is a requirement for MATC's online classes. As a result, with no internet and no Microsoft Word, Schubert dropped out of MATC's fall and spring semesters.
