Formula 1 2009 Felipe Massa Hungary Terrible Incident, Hit on head by metal piece: Felipe Massa suffered a severe crash during Qualifying yesterday. A rear damper spring that had come loose from Rubens Barrichello's Brawn struck Felipe Massa, knocking him out. See video below.
Formula 1 website reports that Massa had suffered a cut on his forehead, concussion and a bone lesion of the skull. Massa had went for surgery and is now in stable condition. He will not race in the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Ferrari’s Felipe Massa will not race in Sunday’s Hungarian Grand Prix following his high-speed qualifying crash at the Hungaroring, the team have confirmed. Massa was airlifted to AEK Hospital in Budapest, where he is in a stable condition.
“Felipe was conscious at the arrival at the hospital,” said a Ferrari statement, adding that Massa had suffered a cut on his forehead, concussion and a bone lesion of the skull. Massa underwent surgery to treat these conditions, the outcome of which was positive. He will now remain under observation in intensive care.

WE REFER to Mr Lee Kwun Lam's letter last Friday, 'Lopsided?'. Mr Lee had compared the costs of property taxes and TV licence fee. Both forms of fees, however, are imposed on separate utilities and are subject to different considerations. Thus, to make a direct comparison between the two would not be meaningful.Someone in HWZ listed out the countries that has abolished the TV License Fee or had never had a TV License Fee (Malaysia, Australia, Belgium, Hungary, India, New Zealand amongst others).
The TV licence fee of $110 has remained unchanged since Jan 1, 1994. It is among the lowest in the world, even as the cost of producing Public Service Broadcast (PSB) programmes has risen over the years, and there are more free-to-air (FTA) TV channels today for consumers to enjoy.
