Marina Shifrin worked long hours for the Taiwanese animator, Next Media Animation, and when she decided to quit her job, she thought a viral video would be the most appropriate way to do it. During a particularly late night when she was still at the office at 4:30 a.m., Shifrin set up cameras and started an epic one-woman dance party to Kanye West’s “Gone.”

I work for an awesome company that makes news videos. I have put my entire life into this job, but my boss only cares about quantity, how fast we write and how many views each video gets. I believe it's more important to focus on the quality of the content. When you learn to improve this, the views will come. Here is a little video I made explaining my feelings.

At a press conference here in April, Taiwanese variety show host Pauline Lan rated Singapore women three out of 10 on the scale of how good they look and Singapore men "worse than three".

The men are even worse. Not sure how many points to rate them but it's worse than three. They are just so sloppy and don't bother about the way they look at all. They don't have to dress over-the-top like South Korean drama stars, but at least they should look clean, right? My general feeling about Singapore men is that they are very oily, whether it's the hair or otherwise. They are just very, very oily.

方志友演出中天新戲《PMAM》，突破最大尺度拍走光戲，她當著上百位男性臨演的面，小可愛脫落只露出Nu Bra，表現出驚慌失措要崩潰的神情，惹得台下尖叫連連，爽喊：「賺到了！不領車馬費都值得，貨真價實Ｆ罩杯！」她形容這場戲「尺度超級無敵大」。開拍前，她連續兩晚睡不著，原本已調適好心情，一到現場被這麼多臨時演員盯著瞧，緊張到快不能呼吸。拍攝時高溫30℃，她汗流浹背，「我超害怕連最後一層（Nu Bra）也掉下來！」變成全裸見客。她拍這場走光戲，壓根不敢跟媽媽說：「播出時我也會跟媽媽說一個錯誤時間。」

近來一段名為「麥當勞爽摳哥」的影片在網路大受討論，影片中的男女在麥當勞用餐到一半，男生從後方雙手環抱穿著制服的女學生，以外套遮掩行為，女學生酥軟躺在男生肩膀，接著女學生的裙子出現震動，旁邊用餐的民眾拍下這段影片po網，不少人看了後直呼「太噁了」。

The daily cites a video uploaded a year ago to video-sharing site, vimeo.com, by British-based professional photographer Peter Rear. Titled ‘Atlantis Engagement, Dubai’, the video does not mention who the two subjects are but contains a caption stating: ‘Surprise engagement proposal rumoured to cost of £1m (RM4.9 million).’

Taiwanese singer Feng Fei Fei (凤飞飞) died on 3 Jan. According to her wishes, her passing was to be kept private and only to be revealed after the Chinese Lunar New Year.

Before her death, she said,

我这一生，过得快乐，活得精采，感谢陪着我一起走过这段精彩岁月的彩虹姐妹兄弟们，没来得及唱的歌，下辈子再唱给您们听！

Taiwan's incumbent President, Ma Ying-jeou, has claimed victory in the country's presidential election. Nationalist Party's (KMT) Ma Ying-jeou had about 51.5 percent votes against 45.7 percent for Democratic Progressive Party's (DPP) Tsai Ing-wen.

Home grown book retailer Page One will close its Vivocity store on Feb 19. Its regional book stores in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Thailand are unaffected.

Page One (葉壹堂) began in 1983 and is founded in Mark Tan (陳家強). The interior of the stores are designed by Mark's brother, architect Kay Ngee Tan.

Mr Kave Goh Mui Seng posted a photo of his $349,243.25 Singtel bill which he chalked up during his trip to Taiwan.

Instead of manually connecting to SingTel's Bridge DataRoam partner, Taiwan Mobile, his phone kept changing networks. Singtel said that Mr Goh did not have to pay $336,000 which was covered under the Bridge DataRoam plan. Settlement for the remaining bill is still in discussion.
