Four Israeli female soldiers were disciplined by the country's military for their 'unbecoming behaviour' after the raunchy pictures were posted on Facebook. The images, published on Israeli news website Walla, showed the soldiers removing their fatigues to expose their underwear and backsides.

Record-breaking re-cycling: Lutz Eicholz breaks world record of riding his unicycle over 127 bottle necks. 29.29 feet (8.93m)

RECYCLING has never been more extreme — as one man has broken the record for riding his unicycle over the necks of 127 beer bottles. Lutz Eichholz rode over an 8.93-metre line-up after setting his previous record at 7.99 metres earlier this year. The 25-year-old German, who balanced his unicycle on the necks on the bottles in Tel Aviv, Israel, is now awaiting confirmation whether his stunt gets into the Guinness Book of Records for 2012.

Ziyi snubbed by Orchard Rd shop: Zhang Ziyi, who was in Singapore over the Hari Raya Puasa weekend, was refused entry into a Hilton Shopping Gallery boutique on Orchard Road. She was with celebrity hairstylist David Gan when the incident happened. Ziyi was in Singapore for a shopping trip after a three-day shoot for National Geographic in the Indonesian part of Borneo.

FIRST, Hong Kong chief executive Donald Tsang was turned away by a bak kut teh stall in Singapore last year.

Now international movie star and Zhang Ziyi (right) has been told the same thing by a shop: Sorry, we’re closed.

Ziyi was refused entry into a high-end boutique while shopping in Singapore over the Hari Raya Puasa weekend.

Celebrity hairstylist David Gan, her friend, mentioned this in a blog entry on 23 Sep.

He wrote that around 6pm, a shop in Hilton Shopping Gallery on Orchard Road refused to admit him and Ziyi because it was closing time.

Ziyi’s mother was with them, but not the star’s fiance, Israeli tycoon Vivi Nevo.

Most of the shops in Hilton Shopping Gallery close between 6 and 7pm, unlike other shops in Orchard Road that stay open till 9.30pm.

Brace yourselves, Megan Fox has an imperfection: The actress is all thumbs. It looks like the most desired woman is not so perfect after all! The internet has been abuzz regarding new photos of Megan Fox with unusually large thumbs. The medical term for Megan Fox’s ever so slightly misshapen thumb is brachydactyly, which is basically a fancy word for a clubbed thumb, according to local hand surgeons.

"Literally, what it means is short finger," says Dr. Steven Bendner, a hand surgeon at Beth Israel Medical Center. "The nail of the thumb in this condition is often very short and wide."

Though the thumb is certainly not what most people are looking at when they look at Fox, it’s worth noting that her condition is often inherited, doctors say.

"It is usually hereditary," Beldner explains. "Although it could also have been caused by frostbite, or it could have been an injury to the growth plate in childhood."

A US airline has caused controversy by decorating one of its planes with a picture of a sexy swimsuit model.

The Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-700 has been emblazoned with Sports Illustrated cover girl Bar Refaeli to celebrate the magazine's annual swimsuit issue.

The Israeli supermodel, currently dating actor Leonardo DiCaprio, is pictured lying seductively in a revealing white bikini along the length of the plane.

Southwest Airlines unveiled the controversial plane for the first time at La Guardia aiport in New York.

The Boeing 737-700, which will fly between New York and Las Vegas will bear the sexy image on its fuselage for a limited time.

Shoe Hurled at Israeli Ambassador in Stockholm: The Israeli ambassador to Sweden was hurled a shoe during a discussion at a university in the Swedish capital city of Stockholm.

Footage recorded by a cell phone shows that a person in the crowd threw a shoe at Ambassador Benjamin Dagan at the seminar about Israel's upcoming elections.

Israel declares ceasefire in Gaza: Israel has begun a unilateral ceasefire in Gaza, three weeks after launching a full-scale assault against Hamas.

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Israel had achieved its goals and Hamas - which has been firing rockets at Israel - had been defeated.

But he said troops would remain in Gaza for now. Hamas said it would not accept one Israeli soldier in Gaza.

Nearly 1,200 Palestinians have been killed since the violence began on 27 December. Thirteen Israelis have died.

Boycott of US brands to begin tomorrow: The operators of Muslim restaurants in Malaysia will stop selling cola drinks, among other boycotts. The boycott move came after former premier Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad urged the global community to not buy American-made products and the US currency to pressure the US government to stop supporting Israel’s attacks on Gaza.

The Malaysian Muslim Consumers Association will spearhead the nationwide boycott of US-made products after Friday’s prayers at the National Mosque. Secretary-general Datuk Dr Maamor Osman said the products that were targeted included cola soft drinks, gourmet coffee and cosmetics. The operators of Muslim restaurants would also stop selling cola drinks at their premises, he added. Dr Maamor said Malaysians should support the boycott, which would show that consumer power was an effective weapon against the US states and its close ally Israel.

Zhang Ziyi is topless, blurry: More than 80 pictures of Zhang Ziyi sunbathing topless on a beach have leaked on the Internet. The Chinese actress was with her fiance, Israeli investor Vivi Nevo.

International film star, Zhang Ziyi, best known from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and, shudder, Rush Hour 2, ended up at the beach topless with some guy fingering her as seen in these watermarked, low quality pictures.

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert To Step Down

sraeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, who helped orchestrate Israel's withdrawal from Gaza and is working towards a peace deal with both the Palestinians and Syria, announced Wednesday evening (July 30) that he won't stand for reelection in his party's Sept. 17 primary. He will step down once the party selects a new leader.

IAF kills senior militant in air strike in Gaza Strip: Israel fired missiles at a car killing Hamas senior militant, Mubarak al-Hasanat.

Missile-firing Israel Air Force aircraft attacked a car carrying gunmen in the central Gaza refugee camp of Nuseirat on Tuesday, and Palestinian sources said a senior member of the militant Popular Resistance Committees, who is also an official of the Hamas-led government, was killed in the attack. The Palestinian sources identified the dead man as Mubarak al-Hasanat, 37, who they said was a senior official in the Hamas administration's Interior Ministry and the deputy commander of the Popular Resistance Committees, a loose alliance of militants from various factions involved in rocket attacks.
